2017 Regional Convention in Montreal, Canada

This year, the convention for the Northeast Region is being held in Montreal as a collaboration with the Royal Canadian College of Organists and the Canadian International Organ Competition.  The convention and organ festival coincides with Canada’s celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the confederation and Montreal’s 375th anniversary.  Find out more details at: http://www.montrealorganfestival.org/.  Register online at: http://www.montrealorganfestival.org/registration.html (early bird discount ends on March 2nd.)

2016/2017 Programs of the New Haven AGO
Fall dinner and concerts:  
Catered dinner in the undercroft of United Church on the Green, 250 Temple Street, on Sunday October 30th at 7pm. Email vivmckay@att.net by October 25th to sign up. Cost is $15 to be paid at the event. Potential members are welcome. Before dinner, you may enjoy the Grammy award winning vocal group Roomful of Teeth, at Battell Chapel at 5pm, or Bach’s Cantata 33 (and other works) for the Reformation Sunday Concert at Bethesda Lutheran Church, 450 Whitney Avenue, at 4pm.

Workshop with Ed Bolkovac: How do you rehearse a choir? 

Bethesda Lutheran Church, 450 Whitney Ave, on Saturday, November 5th, 10am – 1pm, followed by lunch. Ed is the director of the New Haven Chorale and Primrose Fuller Professor of Choral Music at the Hartt School if Music. Signup required for $15 catered lunch by October 29th to vivmckay@att.net. Potential members are invited!
